Project Engineer

Education and Experience Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Telecommunications) or equivalent
• Proven experience in project management, preferably in the IT industry
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools
• Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar tools
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the IT field

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and budget requirements
• Identify and secure appropriate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, needed for project execution
• Lead project teams, ensuring clarity of goals, roles, responsibilities, and deadlines
• Execute the project according to the project plan
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
• Coordinate communication between stakeholders and project team members
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project life cycle
• Develop contingency plans to address potential project risks and issues
• Monitor and evaluate risk factors to minimize the likelihood of project delays or failures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes
• Document lessons learned and best practices for future reference
• Manage stakeholder communications and expectations effectively

Working Hour:

• Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:45pm
• Occasionally Weekend and Public Holiday on a Project basis
