Project Engineer

An IT Project Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Engineer will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. |

Education and Experience Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Telecommunications) or equivalent
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the IT industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar tools
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the IT field

Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and budget requirements
- Identify and secure appropriate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, needed for project execution
- Lead project teams, ensuring clarity of goals, roles, responsibilities, and deadlines
- Execute the project according to the project plan
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
- Coordinate communication between stakeholders and project team members
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project life cycle
- Develop contingency plans to address potential project risks and issues
- Monitor and evaluate risk factors to minimize the likelihood of project delays or failures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes
- Document lessons learned and best practices for future reference
- Manage stakeholder communications and expectations effectively

Working Hour:
- Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:45pm
- Occasionally Weekend and Public Holiday on a Project basis
